It’s the end of the first week back from break. Which also means that another break is only two weeks away! This is a crazy time at Gould – work is coming at us fast; I’m not sure that anyone really knows the new, complicated schedule; and focusing is difficult with the anticipation of the winter break.
Preperation for the Snowball and Yulefest are beginning. Dance lessons for the Snowball are offered several times before the big event. Students are also practicing for performing in the Yulefest. I’m in the band, a jazz band, and a flute ensemble, and every group sounds great in practice.
At the beginning of the week there was skiable snow in Grafton Notch and at the ski area Bretton Woods, so we (the nordic ski team) have gotten some good on-snow training this week. These pictures were taken by Cat Harnden at Bretton Woods.
