Today is Grandparents day here at Gould. They will attend classes with us and then watch sports and afternoon activities. Last night more than 100 grandparents came to formal dinner to enjoy the food, talk with their grandkids, and get a sense of what Gould is all about.
I sat with my honorary grandparent, Grammy Kay who is a Gould Alumni. We talked about her experience at Gould and how the campus used to be set up. After dinner we got a picture taken of us and a few other students who didn’t have grandparents in attendance.
Tomorrow the women’s tennis team has a match against Kent’s Hill at home! Hopefully the rain will hold off and we’ll be able to play on the outdoors courts. Lately some of us have been focusing on serves, vollies, and strong returns. I’m sure this practice will pay off tomorrow during the match.
Last Saturday I hiked the Baldpates in Grafton Notch. We saw two moose on the trail. Although we’ve been having fantastic spring weather lately, there was still ice and snow up high. Here are some images from the hike.
Have a good week!
