Welcome back, I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday!

I would like to give a hand to all those who performed at Yulefest. I really enjoyed the concert and heard a lot of compliments from the audience.

Afterwards, at the cookie walk a record amount of money was raised for kids around Bethel who could not afford presents. Thanks to everyone who donated money or baked cookies.

The morning after Yulefest, Coach Kamilewicz and I drove to Stowe, VT where the rest of our nordic racing team had already arrived. At 10 A.M. the first Eastern Cup competition of the season began with the women’s 1K sprint.

At Eastern Cups races there are great opportunites to learn and grow as an athlete. You can race against and watch some of the best skiers in the nation. Eastern Cups are held all over New England, so they provided excuses to travel and ski some fun terrain.

There were also some high school races that took place over break. Local team members took part in those and had some fast races.
