Happy Friday Everyone!
It has been FOREVER since I posted, and I apologize. I was home for a grand total of 3 days for the entire month of March, and for the most part, I didn’t have WIFI.
I want to talk about the spring time here at the Academy. It is actually my favorite time of year. It’s supposed to be warm (even though it snowed yesterday), the grass is green, there is less stress on campus because most of the seniors have gotten into college, and it is my favorite sports season. This time last year, all the teams were on their fields, it was about 80 degrees, and everyone was as happy as could be (not to mention the extended hours of daylight, which allows for people to be outside until study hall.
I always look forward to the after dinner activities. I have been known to pick up a lacrosse stick and throw around on the upper field with some friends. I know, I know, scandalous! But there is frisbee, volleyball, and any other lawn game that you could imagine.
Then, at the end of the year, we have an awesome dance called Spring Fling. I won’t give you too many details because I have a feeling some fellow gloggers might want to glog about it as we get closer. It’s just as much fun, if not more fun, than snowball!
On Wednesday, the varsity baseball team traveled down to Waynflete High School in Portland. We had only practiced for one day and hadn’t even be able to take a full infield, and we pulled off a win. I cannot wait to see what the season brings us!
Over break I went to Spain. Next time, I will share a little bit about the trip!
Until Next Week,
