Happy Friday Everyone!
Let’s be honest here, I’m one of God’s most pathetic creatures, a Red Sox fan. If you have been around me you know this fact. I have been watching the MLB playoffs, and I cannot believe how well my Sox are doing. They have had a lights out pitching staff, solid offense that has pulled through under pressure, and have overall been playing good, solid, fundamental baseball.
I can’t wait to see how the ALCS turns out. I also cannot wait to see who wins the NLCS. I hope it’s the Dodgers! I think that they have the best pitching staff in all of baseball, and I would love to see the Red Sox destroy them.
As I think about the Red Sox and baseball, I’m immediately brought back to 2004 when the Sox won the world series. I was sitting on the couch in my house, in Davidson. I can still repeat it to this day, “It’s a ground ball stabbed by Foulke, Red Sox fans have longed to hear it, the Boston Red Sox are WORLD CHAMPIONS!”
This actually makes me feel old because that was almost a decade ago! At that point in time, I hadn’t even thought about what college was. And now, nine years later I’m about to apply to a school! It’s crazy how time flies.
Well, I have to go write a lab report for physics!
Until Next Week,
