Plan a Visit
For nearly all of our current students, planning a visit to Gould Academy, located in the quintessential New England town of Bethel, Maine, and being able to meet our students, faculty, coaches, and staff made the decision to come to Gould easy. While our students come to our campus from all around the United States and throughout the world, they all have one thing in common: coming to Gould was the best decision they have made.
Schedule Your Visit
To schedule a visit call Ms. Tracy Hiebert at 207-824-7777. She will spend a few minutes learning more about the student’s interests so that she can plan a visit tailored just for them.
What to Expect
Tour: One of our student tour guides will take you and your family on a tour to show you all that our beautiful campus has to offer. Student-led tours are a great opportunity to interact with current students and learn about life at Gould.
Meet with coaches & teachers: Depending on your academic, athletic, or extracurricular interests, a teacher/coach will come to the admissions office to talk about their program and answer any of your questions.
Lunch: A teacher, admissions team member, or current student will accompany you to lunch in Ordway Hall.
Parent interview: The parent interview is a great time for parents/guardians and our admissions team to discuss expectations for the prospective student.
Student interview: The student interview is an essential part of the application process, and at Gould, we are committed to knowing every student and understanding them as an individual. This applies as much to our prospective students as it does our current students.
Student attends a class: Attending a class is one of the most important parts of a student visit. Learning alongside current students allows you to experience being a student here at Gould.
Attend a practice: Prospective students are always welcome to practice with the team of their choosing.
When to Visit?
Student-led tours of campus are available all year long and are encouraged. Visits are most effective while school is in session so you may meet students, faculty, coaches, and staff.
Do Other Visiting Opportunities Exist?
We encourage you to have multiple points of contact throughout the admission process. Please feel free to visit Gould during one of our Open Houses, sporting or performing arts events and receptions, or attend our Revisit Days after your acceptance to Gould.
Our Admission Team travels across the United States and around the world. Interview appointments off-campus are available, but cannot fully replace the on-campus experience.
