This past weekend, Gould played host to Fast and Female, a Canadian based organization dedicated to empowering young women through sport. It was created by 2006 Olympic cross country skiing gold medal winner Chandra Crawford.

I had the pleasure of watching this group work first hand as I wandered the frozen upper field snapping photographs of cross country skiers sprinting or gliding across a frosty surface.

Clearly, fun ruled the day for 140 9-19 year old girls and young women from across New England who were able to work with Olympians and US Ski Team members.

What an opportunity.
