April – EDI consultants visit campus and meet with input groups to craft a candidate profile. Profile is posted and consultants begin candidate search in earnest.
May – June – Consultants receive applications and continue search.
July – Consultants winnow candidate pool down to 15-20 prospects to be presented to the search committee.
Late July – Early August – Search committee selects semi-finalists and schedules visits to campus for mid to late August.
Late August – Search committee meets and selects finalists. The committee begins the reference process.
September – Finalists visit campus for extensive interviews. Search committee makes its selection.
October – Board of trustees confirms selection. New Head of school announced to community.
