The best way to start the journey and find out what Gould can offer is to visit our campus.
Experience the classroom or laboratory or stage or field or even mountain. Engage with students and teachers in challenging discussion; observe teachers working one-on-one with a student. Have lunch with students and teachers in Ordway Hall. Meet a coach or workout with a student-athlete. Experience the beautiful downtown Bethel. Your visit to Gould is an essential part to both your application process and making sure that Gould is the right fit for you.
What to expect:
Arrival: Our Admissions Office is located in the Carolyn Wight house at 27 Church Street, Bethel, Maine 04217. There you’ll check in with Tracy Hiebert, meet the admissions team, and ready for your tour.
Tour: One of our student tour guides will take you and your family on a tour to show you all that our beautiful campus has to offer. Student-led tours are a great opportunity to interact with current students and learn about life at Gould.
Meet with coaches & teachers: Depending on your academic or athletic interests, a teacher and/or coach will come to the admissions office to talk about their program and answer any of your questions.
Lunch: A teacher, admissions team member, or current student will accompany you to lunch in Ordway Hall.
Parent interview: The parent interview is a great time for parents/guardians and our admissions team to discuss expectations for the prospective student.
Student interview: The student interview is an essential part of the application process, and at Gould, we are committed to knowing every student and understanding them as an individual. This applies as much to our prospective students as it does our currents students.
Student attends a class: Attending a class is one of the most important parts of a student visit. Learning alongside with current students allows you to experience what being a student here at Gould is like.
Attend a practice: Prospective students are always welcome to practice with the team of their choosing.
When to Visit?
Student-led tours of campus are available all year long and are encouraged. Visits are most effective while school is in session so you may meet students, faculty and staff.
